Forge Version Incompatible

A Forge mod refuses to load because it needs a different Forge version than you have installed. The mod states the version it requires, install that Forge build (or a matching mod).

What does this error mean?
Mods are built against a specific Forge version range. 'Requires Forge X.Y.Z' means your installed Forge is older (or newer) than the mod supports, so it will not load until the versions align.
